Weight Loss Gods Way






But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work. 2 Cor 9:6-8,
What would you say is one of the best ways to attract something you want to your life?
The answer lies in the scripture received from above. God has given us a wonderful principle of sowing and reaping which can counteract the poor results of so many of the world's weight loss strategies. To summarize, 2 Cor. 9 tells us that we will reap what we sow. This principle applies to every area of our lives-including our health.
Just as a seed will grow based on how your nourish it (fertile soil, water, sun), your health will improve and flourish based on what you feed your body. Feed it with negative foods, activities, thoughts and behaviors, and guess what you will have? Conversely-- feed it with positive images, healthy food, regular physical activity and healthy thought patterns, and guess what it will produce then -- good fruit!
The key is beginning to act, speak, and think in ways that will attract excellent health into your life. The next time you're in a fast food line, ask yourself if the choice you're about to make will yield good fruit in your life; put another way, will it line up with your vision for your health?
When the enemy comes at you (and he will) in the area of your weakness (usually your mind), fight back with the word of God. Replace every negative thought right away with the word of God ( 2 Cor 10:5).
Beloved, strive to sow to your spirit. For he who sows to his own flesh (lower nature, sensuality) will from the flesh reap decay and ruin and destruction, but he who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life (Gal. 6:8).
